- It is a Rockwell Chipset problem with not only some USR modem,
- but other modems as well, especially those that support
- V.34. I am not sure if Rockwell is fixing the problem, however
- I believe that the problems can be worked around in the
- firmware that the vendor makes. So, if your modem is
- flashable then you might be able to obtain a flash
- from you modem vendor.
